ELK HEAD/sholder mount vintage 1998 mount very large. Condition is "Used".
This Elk head was purchased in a storage unit auction
Pictures included of group hunt of elk.
History of this elk is unknown
It was approximately from 1998 assuming the dated pictures was developed around the same time. That is assumed and not a fact again history is unknown
Please assume this elk was not in perfect condition
Was stored in storage unit for a unknown set of time and was not a climate control.
Mr. Elk joined my family in 2020 he has been hung in my husbands man cave (smoking man cave) he has to go to a new home.
He is very very large please see pictures for measurements I have tried my best to picture every angle of mount
He is in what I consider great condition his fur is in good condition the only flaw I see is he has a little white spot on his nose, his fur sheds a little but only if you seat and rub it hard. You can lightly pet and he is fine.
Please do not bid on this if you want a perfect new mount this is a older mount so there is flaws!
I have not had him weighed but approximately 100 lbs
I have taken pictures to a shipping company told them approximately weight and size and they can professionally ship him to you safely
You will receive the actual elk pictured
I am not a professional taxidermist or hunter so I’m being as honest as I truly can be
He is very large you can see in pictures he is mounted in a garage man cave::: his antlers are passing the garage door rail. His bottom of shoulders about 3 foot up the wall.
