All these items are packed into our own secure ziploc bag and the item is shipped in a BOX.
Description:
Brand new in original manufacturer's packagings is a 5-pole motor armature, associated gear (securely packed in a ziploc) and 5-pole brushes for the following models:
8103 8104 8134 8140 8141 8144 8158 8160 8170 8172 8180 8800 8801 8803 8804 8805 88051 8864 88641 88642 88643 8865 8894 8895 8897.
This motor replaces the 3-pole motor in the older drawings.
NOTE: You need to use a Dremel tool to REMOVE the old motor (suggested). Other methods such as pressing out can be very difficult as the motor shaft is very very small and the force required to press out the old armature easily exceeds most tools for pressing.
NOTE: You need to press the new worm gear onto the shaft as the armature shaft goes through the chassis to connect to the worm gear underneath.
WORM GEAR ORIENTATION:
Important: These little worm gears are not totally symmetrical: one end is smooth and flat, while the other has more of a taper to the thread. Make sure the flat end rests against the bushing in the chassis and the tapered end points down, away from the chassis.
