Rock Shox Mag 21 Early 90's Vintage Suspension Fork.I bought this new in 1994-ish to put on the front of my 1994 GT Avalanche...my first suspension. Put a few good years on it, then sold the whole bike to a roadie friend, who then rode it barely a handful of times before hanging it in his garage where it stayed for years. This last spring I asked him if he even still had the bike, and sure enough he did. He was happy to sell it back to me. I actually had kept the original steel rigid fork so swapped it out for this Mag 21.
It's in reasonable condition for it's age...certainly well used...the magnesium on these forks never aged well under use. I don't recall how much pressure was normally run in these, but this does take and hold air. 1-1/8in threadless steerer is about 7.25in long. Accordion-like stanchion covers are in great shape, not torn or anything. One of the small plastic plugs that fit into the dials is missing.
Would make a great addition to a cool vintage mtb build. (Speaking of...possibly selling the GT that this was on...feel free to message me if you might be interested in that as well.)
