Description

Like a drop of golden honey, this piece will add a warm glow to your jewel design. Sphene has one of the highest dispersions (the ability to break up white light into various colors) of any gemstone—actually higher than that of diamonds. This included oval cabochon won't emit the fire of a faceted sphene, but its inclusions still allow it to that throw off colored sparks and shimmers from its internal veils.
