The entire process from tree to Pak doesn't exceed 72 hours. We hear the end result is a lot like sticking a straw in a coconut.Allows our coconut water to be shelf stable for up to 12 months outside of the fridge. For best taste, after you open a Vita Coco, place it in a refrigerator and consume within 24-48 hours—nobody likes sour coconuts
